Tenant Pathway To Excellence (TP2E)
Our newest program, Tenant Pathway To Excellence, offers a chance for participants to develop the skills needed to be a good tenant and potentially homeowner. We are still working on this pathway, but it will one day find its place in our community to serve.
-
The Tenant Pathway To Excellence (TP2E) is a 12-week, evidence-informed development program designed to equip individuals and families with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to achieve stable, responsible, and successful tenancy. Rooted in STAAR Foundation’s commitment to people over systems, this pathway goes beyond basic housing education by intentionally developing emotional intelligence, personal responsibility, and life navigation skills that support long-term housing stability and upward mobility.
TP2E recognizes that successful tenancy is not just about maintaining a lease—it is about building the capacity, confidence, and decision-making ability required to sustain a healthy living environment, engage positively within a community, and pursue future opportunities, including financial independence and homeownership.
