STAAR Mentoring System is:
A complete system or “cycle” of mentoring, which is evidenced-based meaning our program is created and supported by proven research material, compiled to enrich and develop each child to thrive.
Target Age: All children from ages K-3 through 12th grade.
Mission: Equipping tomorrow’s future leaders
Purpose: To encourage parents, caregivers, educators, youth worker, and children/youth, to think in terms of thriving vs. just getting by.
Objective: Begins by first assessing and identifying the strengths and interests of each child/youth.
Why choose STAAR Mentoring System?
STAAR Foundation is led by passionate committed mentoring practitioners, who provide children with proven evidenced-based researched curriculum, written and developed by expert publication sources like Search Institute. Search Institute’s work and research is based on studies of the 40- developmental assets each child needs to thrive, along with other researched concepts, associated with measuring the correlation between caring adult relationships and each child’s personal development. To provide children with the best, STAAR Foundation believes you have to invest in the best!
